Missing man found killed in friend's house

Police yesterday recovered the body of a man from his friend's house in Rangpur's Kaunia upazila, 27 days after he went missing on December 17.

Victim Sirajul Islam was a resident of Malitary village. 

The law enforcers, however, detained one of Sirajul's friend Farid Hossain and his wife Mimi Akter Misti, 25, in this regard.

Deceased's family members said Sirajul went out of his home around 10:00pm after a phone call from Farid and remained missing since then.

Later, police recovered Sirajul's body from under the kitchen of Farid's house.
