'Militant' Khadiza on 3-day remand

A Jessore court yesterday granted three days' remand for militant suspect Khadiza Akter, also sister of slain Nurul Islam Marjan, a mastermind of last year's Holey Artisan café attack in Dhaka.

Police detained Khadiza from Ghop area of Jessore town on October 9 and produced her before the Court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Bulbul Islam with prayer for seven days' remand the next day.

The court finally fixed October 23 as the date for hearing on it.
