MBBS entry test results published

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today published the result of MBBS admission test held on October 7.

“The result has been uploaded to the website of the DGHS, and the examinees can instantly check their results,” DGHS Director General Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad told The Daily Star this evening.

The results are available at http://result.dghs.gov.bd/.

Over 90,000 candidates sat for the MBBS admission tests on Friday against 11,264 seats in all public and private medical and dental colleges across the country.

The admission process will begin October 20 and continue till October 31.

“This year we have got the answer sheets checked by two independent groups – one of Dhaka University (DU) and the other of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust),” he said.

There is no chance of inaccuracy in the results, he added.

The images of the answer sheets have also been recorded in computer systems for the first time. Anyone complaining about results can easily have a chance to see their answer sheets checked, as authorities would not need to search for manual files, Professor Abul Kalam Azad said.
