Manikganj UZ chairman held

Manikganj Sadar upazila chairman was arrested yesterday while he was distributing leaflets to the passerby and shop keepers in the district town

The arrestee is Ataur Rahman Ata, chairman of Manikganj Sadar Upazila and also former president of district Jubo Dal.

As part of central BNP's programme, Ataur launched the programme around 10:30 am in the Khalpar area of Shahid Rafique Sarak in the town.

Police seized the leaflets from him in the Manikganj Government High School area and arrested him from in front of Syed Market.
