Man found murdered

Police recovered the body of a 'missing' man from a farmland at Chargaopura village in Islampur upazila of the district yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Faruk Hossain, 40, son of Enam Hossain of Bhengura village. Police and family sources said Faruk went out of house at around 8:00pm on Monday and since then he remained missing. Locals found the body in the area in the morning and informed the police. The law enforcers went to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Criminals might have killed the man and dumped the body in the area, said Dwin-e-Alam, officer-in-charge of Islampur Police Station.
