Man found dead beside highway in Faridpur

An unidentified man, aged about 35, was found dead beside Dhaka-Khulna highway in Majkandi area under Madhukhali upazila of the district yesterday.

Informed by locals, police recovered the body from the spot around 9:00am and sent it to Faridpur Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Ashutos Kumar Biswas, office-in-charge of Madhukhali Police Station, confirmed the incident.

Local people suspected that the man was strangled.
