Man to die for killing wife

A court here yesterday sentenced a man to death for killing his wife in 2012.

The convict is Hasan Ali, 35, son of Anwar Hossain of Pakuria village in Singra upazila.

Public Prosecutor Sirazul Islam said Hasan strangled his wife Asma Begum following a family feud in 2012.

Later, a case was filed with Singra Police Station in this connection.
