Man burnt to death in Ctg fire

A man was burnt alive as a fire broke out at a slum in Chittagong city early today.

The deceased Abul Ali, 60, of Barishal, was sleeping in a shanty when the fire originated from a kitchen around 3:00am, said an official of Agrabad Fire Service And Civil Defence.

Four firefighting units doused the fire after two hours of frantic efforts.
