Labourer electrocuted

A day labourer was electrocuted in Benapole check post area of Jessore district yesterday morning. The deceased is Khorshed Alam, 29, son of Chanu Mia, of Boalia village under Benapole Port Police Station. Police and witnesses said Khorshed came in contact with a live electric wire when he was working at a house in the area. He died on the spot, said Apurbo Hasan, officer-in-charge of the police station.
