Nor’wester likely to hit country

Alongside rain/thundershowers, temporary westerly/nor'westerly squalls packing a speed of 60-80 kph or more and lightning flashes are likely to occur over the regions of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Comilla, Noakhali, Sylhet and Chittagong with hails at places during the next 18 hours commencing at 3:00pm of Thursday, said Met office.
