Japanese assured of security in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan Masud Bin Momen assured Japanese Diet members and business leaders of security in Bangladesh.

He also urged Japanese MPs and business leaders for continued engagement and frequent visit to Bangladesh to boost existing bilateral relations.

The assurance came in the view of murder of a Japanese national, Kunio Hoshi, in Rangpur earlier this month – the second foreigner to have been killed recently.

The envoy was speaking at a dinner hosted by the Bangladesh mission in Tokyo in honor of the members of the Japan-Bangladesh Parliamentary Friendship League (JBPFL) in city’s New Otani hotel.
