Iqbal Mahmud new BTRC chairman

Iqbal Mahmud, a former secretary of telecommunications ministry, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.

The government issued the gazette in this regard today.

According to the gazette notification, he will be replacing Sunil Kanti Bose from October 23.

Iqbal Mahmud, the sixth chairman of the country’s telecom regulatory authority, will serve for the next three years.
