The seven people, who were killed in a militant den in Nasirpur of Moulvibazar yesterday, have died in suicidal blast, doctors said after carrying out autopsy on their body today.

“The bodies were totally disintegrated and started to decompose, presumably they died 30 hours before,” said Dr Partha Sarathi Dutta Kanungo, the coordinator of Moulvibazar General Hospital.

A four-member team of forensic experts led by Dr Abu Imran conducted the autopsy.

“A number of small pieces of wires were found inside the body parts,” Dr Kanungo said.

One of the four children killed was just around two to three months old and its sex could not be determined, according to the autopsy report.

Another girl child was found to be two to three years old while the two other were aged 10 years and 12 years respectively, the doctor told reporters.

The two women killed in the blast were aged around 25 years and 30 years.

The male militant suspect killed in the blast was presumably 35 years old.
