Number of colleges with 100% pass rate doubled

The number of colleges with 100 per cent pass rate in this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations result has increased by more than double this year compared to that of 2018.

The combined results of this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations under 10 education boards were published this morning. 

A total of 909 institutions have achieved 100 per cent pass rate this year. The number was 400 in 2018 and 532 in 2017.

Meanwhile, the number of institutions in zero per cent pass rate has come down this year.

A total of 41 colleges saw zero per cent pass rate in the HSC Exams-2019, whereas 55 educational institutions came up with zero pass rate in 2018, and 72 in 2017.
