Hotlines for Yemen expats’ relatives

The foreign ministry has asked the relatives of Bangladesh nationals, got stuck in war-torn Yemen, to stay in touch by its two hotlines as the government has started their repatriation process.

“Two hotlines have been opened at the foreign ministry to coordinate the repatriation process,” said a media note today, asking the relatives to help the government in the process.

Relatives of Bangladesh nationals, now in Yemen, can contact with Lutfur Rahman, director general (Consular and Welfare Wing), by mobile: +880 1726260967 or by email: dgcnw@mofa.gov.bd; and BM Jamal Hossain, director (Welfare and MRP), by mobile: +880 1711380374 or email: dircnmrp@mofa.gov.bd.

It also said counsellor at the Bangladesh Embassy in Kuwait SM Mahbubul Alam, who has already reached Djibouti to help repatriate Bangladeshis, can be reached on his roaming mobile: +96599574203 and email: mahbub50@yahoo.com.
