Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende today hoped that Myanmar government will repatriate stranded Rohingyas from Bangladesh.

"I hope Myanmar will make it possible for Rohingya people to go back to their homes," he said at a roundtable dialogue at a city hotel around noon.

Hailing Bangladesh's steps for the Rohingya refugees, he added that Bangladesh has done really a good job allowing them to enter the country.

"Now these Refugee people need better treatment," he said.

Now an international pressure has come up on the Myanmar government to ensure the minority people's rights, he further said while talking on solution of the Rohingya crisis.

"I hope people of Bangladesh will understand the complex political situation in Myanmar where the military play a vital role."

He also praised Bangladesh's education system and its target to become a middle income country. "The country has to ensure transparency in all sectors and scrap corruption to become a middle income nation," he said.
