Govt college teachers, students stage demo against militancy

Teachers and students of all the government colleges and Alia madrasas across the country today formed a human chain on their campuses for spreading awareness among people against militancy.

The teachers and students under the banner of BCS General Education Cadre organised the programme at 11:00am in the wake of latest terror attacks carried out across the country.

Employees of the educational institutions and officials of Shikkha Bhaban in the capital also attended the programme.

Earlier on Monday, teachers, students and employees of Dhaka University formed another human chain on the university campus, urging for a concerted effort to stamp out militancy and terrorism in the country.
