Four rice mills fined for polluting environment

A mobile court yesterday fined four automatic rice mills in Saidpur upazila for polluting the environment by using polythene bags.

Sources said a court led by Saidpur UNO Abu Musa Md Jongi launched a drive at different mills and factories under Saidpur municipality and fined four rice mills Tk 80 thousand in total.

The four factories are Afzal Auto Rice Mills, Sunny Auto Rice Mills, Parbatipur Auto Rice Mills and Niamotpur Auto Rice Mills.
