Five kids drown in 3 districts

Five kids drowned in Jessore,  Mymensingh and Kishoreganj in the last three days.

Redwan Ahmed, 6, and his sister Maliha Ahmed, 5, drowned in a pond in Sharsha upazila of Jessore yesterday, reports our Benapole correspondent.

Sharsha Police Station OC Mashiur Rahman said they were playing on the bank of a pond when they fell into it.

Tamim Mia, 9, and Mamun Mia, 8 drowned in Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh on Saturday, our Mymensingh correspondent reports.

Tarakanda Police Station Sub-Inspector Md Saidur Rahman said they were swimming in a pond when they drowned.

Azim Mia, 5, accidentally fell into a pond and drowned on Sunday, said SM Shafiqul Islam, OC of Bajitpur Police Station in Kishoreganj.
