Fisheries minister dropped from local AL body

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Sayedul Haque has been dropped from Brahmanbaria district unit advisory council of Awami League.

The decision was taken at the executive committee meeting of district Awami League last evening, our Moulvibazar correspondent reports quoting Al Mamun Sarkar, general secretary of the unit.

The meeting has also recommended forBrahmanbaria dropping Sayedul Haque from the party as well as the cabinet accusing him of nominating chairman candidates in the recently held union parishad polls in his area unilaterally.

Sayedul Haque has given nomination in the local body polls ignoring the party’s central and district committees’ decision, Sarkar said.
