Farmer electrocuted

A man died from electrocution in Sribordi upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased, Khairul Islam, 55, son of Niamat Ali, was a farmer of Chawk Kauria village in the upazila.

Quoting witnesses, police said Khairul came in contact with a snapped electric wire while he was fishing in a beel (water body) near his house around 12:00noon.
