Eighth grader found dead

The body of a schoolgirl was recovered from Rangamatia village in Phulbaria upazila of the district yesterday.

The victim was identified as Sabiha Akhter Shimu, 13, an eighth grader at Rangamatia High School, police said. Shimu was daughter of Abdul Hye, a Qatar expatriate. 

Officer-in-Charge (investigation) of Phulbaria Police Station Abul Khayer said the girl's family members found her hanging from the ceiling of her house around 5:00am and informed police.
