Eight robbers arrested

Police arrested eight alleged robbers with seven stolen private cars from different areas in Kulaura upazila of the district on Tuesday night. The arrestees are Mustafiz Rahman, 29, Ashraf Hosain, 28, Hrridoy Ahmed Bahar, 21, Md Shahin Miah, 27, Abul Hosain, 34, Shahid Miah, 26, and Helal Miah, 29, of the district, and Razu Ahmed Iqbal, 28, of Golapganj upazila in Sylhet district, said the officer-in-charge of Kulaura Police Station.
