Besides, holidaymakers will have to buy their tickets of Mymensingh and Jamalpur from Tejgaon Station. All tickets for Netrakona-bound Mohonganj and Haor Express will be sold from Banani Station, the minister said.

Meanwhile, tickets to Sylhet and Kishoreganj will be sold from OId Rail Bhaban in Fulbaria area.

Advance tickets for inter-city trains for travelling on May 31 and June 1, 2, 3 and 4 would be sold on May 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 respectively, the railways minister said.

This year, 50 per cent tickets will be sold online which was 25 last year, he added.

One person can buy four tickets at a time, the minister said.

Meanwhile, eight special trains will run from June 2 till Eid day.

Bangladesh Railway sold advance Eid tickets only from Kamalapur Railway Station till last year. But this year, the tickets will be sold at different locations in the capital for the first time to ease the ticket-buying process and prevent excruciatingly long queues, Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said earlier.
