Dutch-Bangla Chamber chief ‘missing’

Top businessman and Dutch Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s President Hasan Khalid, 55, has been reported “missing,” family and police say.

He went traceless since Saturday morning, a general diary filed with Dhanmondi Police Station said.

Khalid’s last known whereabouts was at his Dhanmondi 4/A residence in Dhaka yesterday morning, according to family. He went to buy medicine at a nearby pharmacy and never returned.

Khairul Bashar, a sub-inspector of Dhanmondi Police Station, said police are investigating the matter.
