Don’t use president, secy’s photos in posters: BCL

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student front of ruling Awami League, today prohibited the use of photos of its president and secretary in organisational posters.

The announcement was made in a press release issued from the central committee of BCL this evening.

“The banners, festoons and posters may only include the photos of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his daughter and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and his grandson Sajeeb Wazed Joy,” SM Jakir Hossain, general secretary of the BCL, told The Daily Star.

BCL has asked to bring down those banners, festoons and posters which were already advertised publicly within three days, the press release said.
