Divisional tree fair begins

A 15-day divisional tree fair began at Rangpur Zilla School ground in the city on Tuesday noon. As the chief guest, Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Delwar Bakht inaugurated the fair organised by Rangpur District Administration, Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) and Social Forestry Division. Earlier, a colourful procession was brought out from the divisional commissioner's office which paraded the main streets of the city. A total of 450 stalls have been set up at the fair, said organisers.
