JSC, JDC exams for Nov 11 postponed for ‘Cyclone Bulbul’

The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations scheduled for Monday (November 11) have been postponed across the country due to the approaching “Cyclone Bulbul”.

The postponed JSC and JDC examinations will be held on November 13 and 16 respectively at the same time, Dhaka education board Chairman Prof Ziaul Haque told The Daily Star.

The General Science examination for the JSC and Engilsh of JDC, which were scheduled to be held on Monday, have been postponed due to inclement weather following the cyclone, he added.

Yesterday, the authorities postponed Today’s JSC and JDC examinations due to “Bulbul” and fixed November 12 and November 14 for holding the exams respectively.

The JSC and JDC examinations began on November 2 across the country, with the participation of 26,61,682 examinees.
