CPB President Selim gets death threat

A so called group named “Mission Jihadists” threatened Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) President Mujahidul Islam Selim with death through an email early today.

One Nizam Uddin, Nayabe-e-Ameer of Mission Jihadists issued the death threat to me from an email address, Selim told The Daily Star.

“I got an email message around 12:30am last night and a mobile number 01747233070 was also given in the message,” he added.

Expressing strong condemnation over the incident, CPB in a press statement demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants.

CPB, in the statement, also called upon the law enforcement agencies to provide adequate security measures for the party president.
