Child killed in Rangamati landslide

A six-year-old girl was killed in a landslide triggered by incessant rain in police lines area of Rangamati on Monday, June 12, 2017, noon. A six-year-old girl was killed in a landslide triggered by incessant rain in police lines area of Rangamati this noon.

Naima Akhter, daughter of Shah Jahan, was pronounced dead when she was taken to a local hospital, district Civil Surgeon Dr Shahid Talukder told our Rangamati correspondent.

The landslide took place amid heavy rain that began last night.
