Certificate forgery, 7 pry teachers sued

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday filed separate cases accusing seven teachers of different primary schools in Banshkhali upazila on charge of producing fake certificates to get their job.

The accused are Jahirul Haque, Abdul Hakim Chowdhury, Moktar Ahmed, Shahidullah Chowdhury, Abu Sama Md Yusuf, Farid Ahmed and Safiullah Azmi.

Deputy Assistant Director of the ACC in Chittagong Mohammad Wahiduzzaman filed the forgery cases against the accused with Banshkhali Police Station around 12:30pm.

The accused joined their respective schools as assistant teacher by submitting fake academic certificates, said Wahiduzzaman, adding that they misappropriated government allocation by continuing their jobs.
