Car crashes killing 4 in Sunamganj

Four persons were killed and one other injured in a car crash in Sunamganj’s Chhatak upazila today.

The deceased were identified as Tofayel Ahmed, 27, Shah Jahan, 30, Raju Ahmed, 35, and Tayef, 25, our Sylhet correspondent reports quoting police sources.

They were returning to Sylhet in a microbus after attending a wedding in Chhatak when the driver lost control and drove into a ditch around 5:00pm, family sources said.

Their bodies were kept in the morgue of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Faruk Ahmed, in-charge of the hospital’s police outpost.
