Bus strike in 2 districts from today

Bus owners and workers in Patuakhali and Barguna yesterday called a strike for an indefinite period, beginning today, in protest against extortion.

They called the strike at a human chain programme at Patuakhali bus terminal.

Patuakhali Bus Owners' Association General Secretary Golam Maula Dulu and its Executive President Mizanur Rahman and Patuakhali Bus Sramik Union General Secretary Md Manirul Islam Swapan spoke at the rally.

Dulu at the rally alleged that some people forcibly collect money from their buses.
