Bogra rape accused Tufan shifted to Kashimpur jail

Bogra college girl rape prime accused suspended Sramik League leader Tufan Sarkar has been shifted to Kashimpur jail.

Tufan, who was in Bogra jail since his arrest on July 28 in the much-talked-about rape case, was shifted to Kashimpur High Security Prison around 1:00pm, Bogra Jail Supper Mozammel Hossain, told our local correspondent.

The jail authorities shifted him after some national dailies ran reports on Tufan that he reportedly took alcohol in his prison cell in Bogra jail, Mozammel said.
