BNP activist murdered

A BNP activist was stabbed to death at Laskarpur village in Chowgachha upazila of Jessore early yesterday.

The deceased was Abdul Alim, 35, an activist of Cowgachha upazila unit of BNP, and son of Abdul Wadud of the village.

Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chowgachha Police Station, a gang killed Alim when he was returning home from a fish enclosure in the area.

The body bore stab injury marks, said the OC.
