Blue Whale ‘game addict’ held, freed

An alleged Blue Whale online ‘suicide game’ addict was held in Nabinagar upazila on Saturday night.

However, police freed the teenage college boy hours after his arrest.

The boy is Mushfiqur Rahman Emon, 16, son of Bazlur Rahman of Jinodpur village. He is a student of a college in Dhaka.

Nabinagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge  Aslam Shikder said, informed that a college student cut his hand with a blade while playing the game, they arrested Emon from his house. He was released to the custody of his mother yesterday, said the OC.
