BGB, BSF agree to stop human trafficking

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday agreed to stop human trafficking and smuggling of drug and arms along the border.

The six-hour long regional commander-level meeting was held at the Benapole BGB Headquarters.

Different border related issues, including drug and arms smuggling, trespassing and border security arrangement, were discussed in the meeting, said Lt Col Md Ariful Islam, commander of BGB-49 Battalion.
