Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF in Kurigram

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Roumari border in Kurigram last night.
The deceased was identified as Monser Ali, 40, son of Forman Ali, a resident of Bamoner Char area of Roumari upazila.
A group of Bangladeshi cattle traders were trying to enter the Indian territory through the border around 9:30pm for bringing cattle, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources said.
Sensing their attempt, a patrol team of BSF opened fired at the cattle traders, leaving Monser bullet injured.
Later, the injured was rushed to the upazila health complex where doctors declared him dead, said upazila health officer Doctor Mahfuza Sarker.
