Bangladeshi shot by BSF

A Bangladeshi was shot by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Telkupi border area under Shibganj upazila of the district on Sunday night.

The victim is Md Abir Ali, 23, son of Abdul Latif of the village.

Commanding Officer (CO) of BGB 9-Battalion in Chapainawabganj Lt Col SM Abul Ehsan said the Indian border guards shot at Abir when he was cutting the barbed wire fence near pillar number 180/7 around 8:00pm to enter India.
