UPDF supporter shot dead in Khagrachhari

A supporter of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) was shot dead at his home in Khagrachhari Sadar upazila today.

Unknown miscreants swooped on the house of Dilip Kumar Chakma, 42, at Harinathpara around 9:00am and gunned him down, reports our Khagrachhari correspondent quoting Abdul Awal Chowdhury, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Khagrachhari (Sadar circle), told The Daily Star.

Reason behind the murder could not be known immediately, police said.
