Govt to send 200 graduates to Japan, India for technology training

The government has taken an initiative to send two hundred fresh graduates from Computer Science, Software Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering background to India and Japan to attend training course on different upcoming technologies.

Graduates will be trained up on data science, artificial intelligence (AI), machine leaning, internet of things (IoT), robotics, block chain and cyber security there.

A public notice has already issued on the website of Information and Communication Technology Division.

Government will bear all the expenses for the training aiming to faster the growth of the digitalization, said officer who are related with it.

He said in the coming days these technologies will lead the whole economy of the world.

“We have selected some topic which are quite new to us and huge number of engineers will be required in this filed in the coming days,” said the official.

Requesting anonymity, he said this will be a rare scope as currently only officers sent for taking training but here government sending fresh graduates for higher training and after coming back, they will train up others. 

Interested candidates needs to apply through online (www.bhtpa.gov.bd) whom are under 32 years. 

ICT division will take formal exam and qualified candidates will be selected for training.
