5 police officials promoted to add IG, 15 others to DIG

Five police officials have been promoted to the post of additional inspector general of police while 15 others to the rank of deputy inspector general (DIG).

Home ministry issued separate circulars signed by M Qamrul Ahsan Talukdar, senior assistant secretary of the Public Security Division of the ministry, this evening.
