Arms, ammo seized at Munshiganj dormitory

Police arrested six people including three students along with four firearms from Shahid Zia Hall of Harganga College in Munshiganj this morning.

The firearms include two foreign made pistols, a pipe gun and an air gun from two rooms of the boys’ dormitory during a raid, said Zayedul Alam, superintendent of Munshiganj Police.

Police also recovered parts of a .303 rifle, three magazines, 96 bullets, pipe gun making materials, a toy gun, two Chinese machetes, seven knives, a hacksaw blade and 33 bottles Three among the arrestees are students of the college, police said.
