50 hurt in Sylhet clash

At least 50 people were injured in a clash between two rival groups in Bishwanath upazila of Sylhet district yesterday.

Anwar Khan, chairman of Rampasha Union Parishad, said one Turan Mia of Rampasa village brought some medicines from Shanu Miah Pharmacy at Kadipur village around 12:00pm.

Turan and Shanu locked in an altercation over the medicine price. At one stage, Shanu and his brother beat Turan over the issue in the upazila health complex area, triggering the clash.
