Five ‘gamblers’ held in Ashulia

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) have detained five alleged gamblers in Ashulia of Savar.

Rab-4 Company Commander Major AHM Adnan Tafader said in a press release today.

The detainees are: Abdul Wahab (33), Mosle Uddin Rana (35), Shahidul Haque (32), Bazlu (33) and Md Sirajul.

According to the press release, the five were detained red handed while they were gambling around 10:00pm last night.

The Rab members also seized playing cards, mobile phones and cash from their possession.
