4 ‘Yaba traders’ held from Dhanmondi

Law enforcers today claimed arrest of four alleged Yaba traders along with 1, 23, 000 pieces of the contraband tablets from West Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

The arrestees are Md Alam, 40, Md Jasim 23, Md Salauddin, 27 and Md Mizanur Rahman, 33, all from Cox’s Bazar, says a statement from Rapid Action Battalion (Rab).

Rab officials, acting on a tip-off, raided a building in West Dhanmondi last night and arrested the four, including “Yaba King in” Shamrat Alam, said Lt Col Anwaruzzaman, commanding officer of Rab-2.
