4 killed, 10 hurt in Sirajganj road crash

At least four people were killed and 10 others injured as a bus collided head-on with a truck in Koddar More area in Sirajganj Sadar this afternoon.

The identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

A Pabna-bound passenger bus of ‘Night Star Paribahan’ collided head-on with a goods-laden truck coming from opposite direction around 4:30pm leaving two people dead on the spot and injured 12 others, said Abu Daud, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge West Police Station.

Two of the injured succumbed to their injuries at Sirajganj General Hospital, the OC told our Pabna correspondent.

The injured were rushed to different local clinics in the town.

Police seized the two vehicles, he said.
