Four of a family including two children were brutally killed over what police suspect family feud in Bandarban Sadar upazila.

The bodies of a male, his sister and their two children – all believed to be of Rohingya race – were found with slit throats this morning.

In prima facie, police suspected it to be a murder committed over family feud, our Banderban correspondent reports quoting Imtiaz Ahmed, officer in-charge of Sadar Police Station.

Identity of the deceased could not be ascertained, but the male was around 42 years of age, the woman around 35 and the two children around four and 12 years old.

“On information, police rushed to the spot. They were found with their throats slit – murdered sometime last night. We suspect the killing is motivated from family feud,” the OC said.

No one was detained over the incident.
