Police detained them while they were entering Rohingya camps as they could not show any work permit, said Afzurul Haque Totul, additional superintendent of police in Cox's Bazar.

They were working under different international aid agencies, he said adding, "They entered Bangladesh with tourist visa and didn't have permission to work here."

Police released them taking their undertaking that they would not carry out such activities without any valid work permits, Abul Khayar, officer-in-charge of Ukhiya Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The foreign nationals also endorsed mistakes in lending their efforts without having any valid work permits, the OC added.
