3 stalkers jailed

A mobile court sentenced three youths to one year's imprisonment each for teasing a college girl at Ujjalpur village in Meherpur Sadar upazila yesterday.

The convicts are Bidyut Hossain, 23, Sadhin Ali, 25, and Sariful Islam, 20, of the village.

Locals caught the trio while they were teasing the girl on her way to college and informed the police.

Police arrested the youths and produced them before the mobile court led by Shainuzzaman, assistant commissioner (land) of Meherpur Sadar upazila. The court sent them to jail.
